  • Who can join the Servants Preparation Program?
The program is open for all Youth in the church grade 11th and up.
  • How Can You Pass the Program?
Participants have to pass the first year of the program before being admitted to the second year. Only after passing the second year they can be assigned to a service in the church. Participant passing Grades are calculated for every educational unit and are based on 30% attendance + 30% participation on the online forums + 40% projects.
  • Can a participant join at any date?
Because the program is structured in lectures and educational units, registration will only be open on a yearly basis at the beginning of the year. If you want to join and missed the registration period, unfortunately, you have to wait for the next year opportunity.
  • What can I do if I cannot attend a lecture?
Participation and attendance are required for the program. Program participants are allowed 1 unexcused absence per course (educational unit). Please reach out to service coordinators if you have a permanent conflict. We do offer self-paced self study program and video recordings of the lectures.
  • What are the expectations of the projects?
Program participants are required to submit a project for each course (educational unit). Very often the project is a short paper (5 pages) on a topic related to the course content. The submitted paper is expected to be an original (not copied from an online source) academic paper. It should provide a good analysis of the topic, an argument and an in-depth coverage of the topic selected together with references and citations.
  • How is the course participation credit computed?
The course participation is part of the assessment of each course. Lecture attendance only is not sufficient for earning credit. The course participation is evaluated by passing the online quizzes posted on the service website, actively contributing to discussions during the lectures as well as online on the forums. The main point of the participation credit is to create an interactive environment in which everybody is learning together.
